It all started in March 2001 with three families - the Ajayis, Adebambos and Oludipes. House fellowship you would say, considering that Pastor Oludipe had to commute from London, where he was based with his family, to Manchester every week.

By May of the same year Sunday services were held at Ardwick Neighbourhood office and by June the inauguration service of the church was held.
